NORTH HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) —
Outrage has grown at Walter Reed Middle School in North Hollywood, as the school faces layoffs and increased class sizes due to a law limiting funds for schools with a higher white student body.
The Los Angeles Unified School District provides more funding for schools where the white population is below 30 percent.
In a letter to parents, the district noted the highly regarded middle school had been above the percentage for the past couple years.
So funding is mechanically cut wherever the white student body exceeds 30 percent. I understand the term minority has suffered egregious verbicide, though 30 percent is literally one, and not a plurality either. And so if protecting minorities was always just a ruse, by what logical basis would this figure for funding evisceration not fall to five percent in the future? And once you accept the premise of a few whites being a few too many, why would California permit any public funding for them period? Where you aware that municipalities face no budget cuts or refunds whatsoever when the percentage of taxes paid by whites exceeds 30 percent? How difficult is it to envision the current trajectory toward simultaneous mandates of exclusively white taxation for exclusively non-white funding? Finally, which branch of government would you guess is responsible for this pernicious piece of legislation?
The racial formula was a condition imposed by court decisions dealing with desegregation in the 1970s.
Parents, however, remain frustrated with what the cuts might mean for their children.
Make sure to read that last sentence closely in context. It’s saying that even though a judicial star chamber decreed that whites may not benefit from their own taxes, parents however remain frustrated. What strange parents. Variations of this bizarre rhetorical formulation have been proliferating like a pop starlet’s pubic lice lately. Despite this despicable condition, certain people despise it. I suppose we’ll just have to figure out why without the media’s aid.
Oddly enough, even the intended beneficiaries are becoming flummoxed.
“When your class sizes are getting larger and you’re taking resources away from students, I mean as parents, you do want your kid to go out to college,” one parent, Rosemary Estrada, said.
It’s getting increasingly difficult for the Estradas of the world to navigate America’s racial turf maze. Plainly she came here for our society to make a better life for herself. I mean if she didn’t want to live around whites, a big world awaited. Though now anything over 30% of them results in a worse life–which is the exact opposite expectation of all those Central Americans presently atop north-bound trains.
According to Greatschools.org, Walter Reed middle school has the following demographic profile:
47% Hispanic (or white if they commit a felony)
So an overwhelmingly non-white school gets bloodied in the left’s zeal to bomb whites. That’s called unintentional consequences. And it is a corollary of unfunded budgets. Because the Walter Reed district is now going to be desperate to run off its 30% overflow. But 30% parents aren’t entirely sanguine about their children being the only hated gringos in class. And so those with opportunities for mobility will start to take them. That means fewer whites to pay the bills, which means decreased school funding, increased white flight, and the children of people like Rosemary Estrada suddenly attending a more northerly version of the same dump they swarmed over the border to avoid.
It seems finding the proper formula for maintaining a caste of culturally deracinated, politically powerless, social amenity supporting whites is more difficult than solving the Riemann Hypothesis. But this situation will ultimately be less redolent of a conundrum faced by mathematicians than the one faced by King George. Because what is happening in California is so openly offensive to most people’s sense of civic good-faith, that in revolutionary times it would have seamlessly slid into public revulsion as one of the Intolerable Acts. That’s a concept with a future as vivid as its past. Consider the following…
For many parents, the race-based reason of “too many white students” has made the cuts more difficult to swallow.
Difficult to swallow is a euphemism. What these polite minority white parents mean is that such malicious orders are intolerable. Eventually they’ll stop tolerating them.
